We use the various magnet-tiles during or small group times to challenge our students to create and build different models. Students love the challenge that these items bring and love working together or in groups. I also find that sometimes this magnet-tiles help social-emotionally as well. Students sometimes need a break and a chance to regulate their bodies and emotions and we have found that the tiles help with that as well. We cannot wait to share with you the progress we have made so far.\r\n The headphones that the students often acquire are hand me downs and don't last very long. My students need their headphones daily not just for classroom assignments but also for certain accommodations to aid in their learning experience. The headphones also aid in comfort as well. The brand new set are durable and color coordinated to help be maintained well.\r\n The plant kit has been great for our final science unit in which we study the life cycle of a seed. We have given students the weekly job of maintaining and writing observations down.\r\n The bean bags have been a huge hit! They have provided a nice choice for alternate seating and has helped complete our calm down corner nicely.
