We were able to thoughtfully redirect the funds to address other important and immediate student needs, and the impact has been just as meaningful.\r\n\r\nWe purchased additional MacBook chargers to support students who learn in portable classroom pods. These students often rely on their devices throughout the day but do not have regular access to charging carts located inside the main building. Having chargers readily available has reduced disruptions to learning, ensured students can stay engaged for entire lessons, and eliminated the stress of devices losing power during instructional time. Students are especially appreciative of having consistent access to charged devices, which allows them to participate fully alongside their peers.\r\n\r\nWe also added a charging tower, which has been exciting and extremely helpful for students. The tower allows multiple devices to be charged at once and can be moved easily, making it accessible no matter where students are seated in the classroom. This flexibility has made transitions smoother and has helped students take greater responsibility for managing their technology needs.\r\n\r\nFinally, we purchased a double burner for our Family and Consumer Sciences course. This has opened up additional hands-on learning opportunities for students, allowing more students to practice cooking and food preparation skills safely and efficiently. Students are especially enthusiastic about this addition because it gives them more chances to actively participate, collaborate, and build real-life skills that extend beyond the classroom.\r\n\r\nOverall, these purchases have directly improved daily learning experiences for our students by supporting both academic technology use and hands-on skill development.
