On behalf of my 7th-grade students and myself, I would like to send a heartfelt thank you for being a part of this community's growth and success. Your contributions have provided invaluable resources that allowed my students to engage deeply with issues that matter to them and their community.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials you helped fund, they were filled with excitement and pride. They had access to borders, bolded letters, crafting scissors, and markers, which encouraged them to lean into their creativity. One of the most memorable moments for me—and for my students—was when they first saw the variety of borders they could choose from. Students eagerly supported each other, suggesting borders and color palettes that would work best for their projects. The resources you provided energized and motivated them. It's incredible to see students who were once hesitant or disengaged now actively participating and taking ownership of their learning.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue to build on the foundation these resources have given us. The Social Justice Exhibition is a tradition at our school, and it will continue to give future generations of students a platform to advocate for what matters most to them.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in my students and investing in their futures. Your contribution has truly made a lasting impact.","fullyFundedDate":1754693251337,"projectUrl":"project/7th-grade-social-justice-exhibition/9340942/","projectTitle":"7th grade Social Justice Exhibition","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Melo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10030923"},{"teacherId":9847277,"projectId":8965758,"letterContent":"Students in Beyond Books spent the winter reading two novels by Jewel Parker Rhodes thanks to your donations. At our school \"Commitment to Excellence\" is a core value that we talk about often. And what better way to embody excellence than through the cultivation of reading. For most of our book club members, having the opportunity to read books with their friends outside of class exposed them to the possibility that reading could also help them build friendships and community. We celebrated this small win with a trip to the local bookstore and for bubble tea and looked for a new book to continue making gains towards our reading goals.
