As we begin our year remotely, I am committed to continuing to provide a high quality, hands on education. In order to best be able to do that work, I will need to be able to show students videos of my modeled work, while also maintaining access to our online learning platform.
After testing a few different set ups during the Spring, I would love to utilize an iPad to create and edit videos, while still having access to the class and documents through my computer screen. An iPad will offer unique opportunity to video and edit, upload seamlessly for students and not sacrifice computing capacity. I believe having a more teacher friendly way to share videos of work, my face and reactions to their work, will help us build community from the safety of our own homes. I am struggling right now to accomplish that with one computer that isn't the best for recording annotations in a physical copy of a book.
It sound so simple, but the pandemic has made it a while lot more difficult than I would have imagined.
