The emotion puppets and nesting dolls are used throughout the day, in the library area, cozy corner, and toys and games center. The students love to use the puppets to share how the \"puppet\" is feeling. \r\n\r\nThe ice cream cones have been useful and fun way to focus on literacy skills. The students will make ice cream cones, using the letters on the ice cream to spell out their classmates names. The number cones are fun visuals to show how adding one more ice cream scoop adds one more number.
