It enables us to have conversations or listen to Audibles as we go about our day. Well, for our students in today's world, they need to acclimate to testing through the use of devices. In first grade, they become proficient in logging themselves onto the Chromebooks and iPads, by memorizing the first of the zillions of passwords they will use throughout their lives.\r\n \r\nIn first grade, even though some families have provided good headphones for their child's use in school, many more have been using the school's old basic headsets. The kids need to work individually online, on occasion, and the old black headsets were falling apart, some missing the foam cushions, breaking inside the devices or just not producing good sound. \r\n\r\nWhen we received the new headsets from this project, the kids loved them! They are colorful with big, soft ear cushions and adjustable sound to meet their needs. The kids were so excited when the package arrived with the name plate pockets and cardstock! They are so proud to display their names on their very own desks. They also use these name plates as tools for learning to write their first and last names as well as a resource for alphabet recognition, number line counting and shapes thats are displayed there as well.
