The adapted toys have really engaged the students who could not access these things before! Attaching them to switches really helps with their engagement and improving their attention. A positive byproduct of having these materials is that we can now work more collaboratively with occupational and physical therapists! The toys have been motivating tools in improving gross and fine motor planning for our students :)\r\nIn particular, the flipping dog has been a fun addition to our collection, helping the students take turns and engage with something more dynamic than other toys we had. \r\n\r\nWe also really appreciate the addition of switch activated appliances.
