The speaker has truly transformed our classroom environment. Music is now clear, powerful, and immersive, allowing students to fully connect with rhythm, tempo, and expression. Whether we are exploring the history of jazz, practicing choreography, or engaging in creative movement, the quality sound has made every lesson more engaging and accessible.\r\n\r\nThe skeleton models have also become an unexpected star of our classroom. In dance education, understanding the body is just as important as moving it. These models have helped students visualize how their bones and joints work together, deepening their awareness of alignment, posture, and movement mechanics. What might have been an abstract concept is now something they can see, touch, and understand.\r\n\r\nTogether, these resources have allowed me to blend science and dance in a way that sparks curiosity and excitement. My students are not only dancing—they are learning about their bodies, building confidence, and expressing themselves creatively in a supportive environment.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and helping us turn our classroom into a space full of movement, discovery, and joy. Your support continues to make a lasting impact every single day.\r\n\r\nWith gratitude,\r\nGabrielle Giordano\r\nP.S. 312","fullyFundedDate":1609428076663,"projectUrl":"project/dance-embodied-learning-for-special-need/5189555/","projectTitle":"Dance Embodied Learning for Special Needs","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gabby","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6850812_orig.jpg?crop=260,260,x0,y12&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1776258967910","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6850812"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_97717","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":426,"numTeachers":75,"percentFrplEligible":35,"percentAsian":12,"percentBlack":13,"percentWhite":44,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":23,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":"5.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":66.0,"schoolId":97717,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about PS 372 The Children's School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"PS 372 The Children's School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/new-york-city-dept-of-ed/ps-372-the-children-s-school/97717"}
