With the purchase of a new toaster oven, the cooking club has been able to bake brownies and garlic bread. With the purchase of thousands of disposable gloves, we have been able to increase student participation, allowing all students to hygienically prepare vegetables by cutting, grating and peeling while wearing gloves. With the purchase of new plates, bowls, and utensils, we have been able to continue serving one meal weekly to all students in the school. None of this would have been possible without your support.\r\n\r\nStudents have made many amazing dishes with all the new supplies. Highlights from the past months include waffles, vegetable ramen, fried rice, chicken Alfredo pasta, spaghetti with meat sauce, and nachos. Students have enjoyed learning how to use the new equipment and tools, and teachers have been grateful to not have to spend their own money on serving materials. We now have enough supplies to continue cooking club through the end of the school year. Firstly, the donor gets the satisfaction of knowing that they have contributed to a creative and artistic endeavor. Their support helps to bring the tie dye project to life and enables the artists involved to showcase their talents.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, the donor may receive various benefits depending on the nature of their involvement. They may receive recognition and gratitude from the artists and organizers, such as having their name mentioned in project acknowledgments or receiving a personalized thank you note. This recognition can be a source of pride and fulfillment for the donor.\r\n\r\nFurthermore, the donor's contribution may also come with tangible rewards. For example, they may receive a piece of tie-dyed artwork as a token of appreciation. This not only serves as a unique and personalized gift but also allows the donor to showcase their support for the tie dye project in their own home or office.\r\n\r\nOverall, the impact on the donor is multifaceted. They experience the joy of supporting a creative endeavor, receive recognition and gratitude, and may even receive tangible rewards as a token of appreciation.","fullyFundedDate":1687470772116,"projectUrl":"project/tie-dye/7408198/","projectTitle":"Tie Dye","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hunte","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8697396_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1663115910806","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8697396"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_124048","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":null,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":74,"percentAsian":14,"percentBlack":16,"percentWhite":12,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":34,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Record","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":75.7,"schoolId":124048,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about PS 36k @ Wingate on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"PS 36k @ Wingate","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/new-york-city-dept-of-ed/ps-36k-wingate/124048"}
