Every morning, the children rush in excited to check on the fish, observe how they're growing, and make sure everything in the tank is just right. Caring for the fish has become a meaningful part of our daily routine—and a highlight of the day.\r\n\r\nOne of our favorite moments is watching the fish recognize our \"Pet Helper.\" As soon as she approaches the tank to feed them, they swim right to the glass as if greeting an old friend. This simple interaction has taught our students about responsibility, empathy, and the joy of nurturing living things.\r\n\r\nWe have already harvested 3 sets of pea shoots from the garden and discuss how the shoots can be used in salads. Our tank is a wonderful way for them to observe plant and fish ecosystems working together. \r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our classroom now has a hands-on, living example of science, responsibility, and curiosity at work.
