The students led the charge with a neighborhood cleanup and plan to continue their advocacy next year \r\nIn addition they created the rain barrels after visiting the local community garden. The garden does not have a direct water source so the barrels are a great asset. We also planted strawberries, leafy greens and cauliflower plants that were started in a hydroponic growing tower. Thank you for choosing our students to support. We could not have created such a meaningful and productive project without your support.","fullyFundedDate":1746209112655,"projectUrl":"project/its-our-world-lets-protect-it-drop-by/9287180/","projectTitle":"It's our world, let's protect it drop by drop!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. K","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5900895"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_269","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":347,"numTeachers":42,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":20,"percentWhite":1,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":76,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"8.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":48.9,"schoolId":269,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about PS 30 Wilton on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"PS 30 Wilton","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/new-york-city-dept-of-ed/ps-30-wilton/269"}
