We are using them to observe our faces and draw our self portraits. We notices the shapes and lines of our eyes and other facial features. The entire school will use these mirrors. Due to space issues, not all classes will get to make sculpture on the scale of the fifth graders. It has helped with their social emotional development and given the children an opportunity to care for something other than themselves. Seeing our fish bring so much joy and the students take great pride in helping with feeing the fish, cleaning out the tank and saying hi to the bubbles. \r\n\r\nFor one student in particular who tends to have separation anxiety during drop off in the mornings, bubbles brings him emotional support as he likes to go to visit Bubbles and tell them how his day is going.
