By keeping their books, reading logs, and assignments all in one place, students know exactly where their materials are and can transition smoothly into reading time. This has reduced lost papers, minimized classroom clutter, and helped students take more responsibility for their learning.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have also played an important role in supporting focused reading. When students listen to audiobooks or work on reading tasks on their devices, the headphones help block out distractions and create a calmer learning environment. This allows students to stay engaged in their stories or activities, concentrate for longer periods, and build stronger reading habits.\r\nTogether, these simple tools have supported students in becoming more organized, independent, and focused readers.\r\nThank you for your continued support at home and in the classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1758898802530,"projectUrl":"project/enthusiastic-readers/9738733/","projectTitle":"Enthusiastic Readers","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gravelli","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1721973"},{"teacherId":9332220,"projectId":9165729,"letterContent":"When our Half-Moon Table arrived, my students were thrilled. They helped me unbox it, guessed where it would live, and cheered when we placed it in our small-group area. The table has become the heart of instruction. Its semicircle shape lets me sit at the center so I can see every face, notice misunderstandings, and provide quick feedback. In reading groups, students follow along, discuss vocabulary, and practice fluency while I coach in real time. English Learners are especially confident here; the proximity and eye contact make speaking and listening feel safe. They share ideas, ask clarifying questions, and celebrate one another's progress. Thanks to your generosity, learning in our classroom is more personal, interactive, and organized.","fullyFundedDate":1746785599480,"projectUrl":"project/building-bridges-a-half-moon-table-for/9165729/","projectTitle":"Building Bridges: a Half Moon Table for Small Group Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Holmes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9332220"},{"teacherId":6936844,"projectId":9674669,"letterContent":"Our class is absolutely loving our new materials! Students are so excited to finally find the books they're looking for without maneuvering through piles. Together, we organized our classroom library by genre and labeled each basket—making it truly their own. It was amazing to see how proud they felt taking ownership of their space. During morning SEL, students enjoy sitting on the rug at their designated spots. Taking turns placing the rug markers has helped them sit in an organized, calm way that supports focus and learning.\r\n\r\nTheir favorite donation by far has been the poster boards! They've used them for end-of-unit projects, community displays, and creative classroom posters. One of their proudest moments was writing our classroom rules together and decorating the poster as a team. They also created a beautiful breast cancer awareness poster for our school's walk and held it high with pride. These new materials have truly brought structure, creativity, and joy to our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1758066385470,"projectUrl":"project/from-chaos-to-cozy-building-a-classroom/9674669/","projectTitle":"From Chaos to Cozy: Building a Classroom That Works","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. McDonald","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6936844_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757981275735","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6936844"},{"teacherId":4965926,"projectId":8607852,"letterContent":"Today, I write to express deep gratitude for your generous donation. Your support is making a significant difference in the lives of students, and we want to share the impact your contribution is having on their education and personal growth.\r\n\r\nThanks to your donation, students have access to a class device to project work on the smartboard. This allows them to engage with the subject matter in more meaningful ways. The impact of this support is not only academic but also emotional, as it shows our students that they are supported and valued by people who care about their success. Furthermore, the long lasting effects of your contribution go beyond the classroom. By investing in their education, you are helping to build their confidence, expand their horizons, and inspire them to achieve their full potential. \r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your incredible generosity.
