Our keyboards are still as clean and intact as they were when they were connected to the new computers! We all know that kids will be kids and their attention often wanders, even with the best of lessons. Unfortunately, when there is a pretty computer keyboard in front of them, that's what they choose to play around with. Younger students have removed keys from the keyboards in the past and if you've ever tried to reattach a Mac keyboard key, you know it's a futile effort.\r\n We had many keyboards that were very old - at least 10 years old - and not in the best condition. Keys were missing, students had written on them, they were very dirty, etc. The new keyboard protectors have stopped all of that from happening anymore. You'll see photos of the old keyboards as compared to the new ones with the keyboard protectors. It's like day and night!\r\n The students like using them because they actually tamp down the sound of the keys when they type so it's less noisy and distracting in the room when 28-30 students are typing at the same time.
