With tablets and learning apps, students can practice reading, writing, and math skills in both English and Spanish at their own pace. Many donors may use technology at home for everyday tasks, but in our classroom, it becomes a powerful learning tool—one that supports bilingual language development, offers personalized practice, and keeps students engaged through interactive activities. The technology also allows me to monitor progress in real time and quickly adjust instruction to meet each child's needs.\r\nWhat excites students the most is how fun learning feels with these new tools. They love being able to listen to stories in both languages, use drawing features to show their understanding, and play academic games that reinforce phonics, vocabulary, and math facts. The ability to choose activities that match their learning level boosts their confidence and independence. The technology has made lessons more interactive, and students are excited to participate, collaborate, and try new challenges.","fullyFundedDate":1758898989639,"projectUrl":"project/tools-for-learning-and-a-clean-focused/9608042/","projectTitle":"Tools for Learning and a Clean, Focused Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Delgado Reyes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8662394_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y796&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1745682072325","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8662394"},{"teacherId":8930341,"projectId":9495507,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom with the new SEL notebooks! Each session, we read an SEL-based book and use the notebooks for students to reflect, draw, and write about what they've learned and how they feel.\r\n\r\nMore than 110 dual language and ICT students from grades K to 2, are benefiting from these notebooks. They love having a space to express themselves in different ways, through pictures, words, or both, which helps build confidence and supports language development. It's been heartwarming to see even our most hesitant writers eager to share their work.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this possible. The sensory toys quickly became a favorite, helping students stay calm and focused during small group activities. The folders and printing paper were put to use right away for a writing project where students created their own bilingual \"All About Me\" books. Having the sharpener, markers, and ink ready made the process smooth, and students were proud to share their work with their peers.\r\nThe new resources have truly transformed the flow of our day. Simple items like tissues and cleaning wipes have helped us maintain a healthy learning environment, while the organizational tools have allowed students to take greater responsibility for their own materials. Seeing them use the supplies with pride shows how something small can have such a big impact on their confidence and independence.\r\nNext, our class will use these materials to continue building literacy skills through interactive reading and writing projects. With the right tools in place, students are more eager to participate, practice new vocabulary, and share their voices in both English and their home language. Your generosity has given them not only supplies but also a sense of belonging and joy in their learning journey.","fullyFundedDate":1746786241557,"projectUrl":"project/essential-supplies-for-a-clean-and-organ/9285933/","projectTitle":"Essential Supplies for a Clean and Organized Classroom\"","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Delgado Reyes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8662394_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y796&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1745682072325","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8662394"},{"teacherId":7956142,"projectId":6638674,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our project. We placed hand sanitizer at every table group, by the door, and near the sink. The kids used it regularly without needing reminders they were already cautious with germs and appreciated having it within reach. The paper towels came in handy for handwashing and quick cleanups, and the Clorox wipes were used daily to wipe down surfaces. The students even took ownership of keeping thins clean, especially during our weekly cooking class. They followed all the cleanup routines and were proud of how responsible they were being.\r\n\r\nHaving these supplies made our classroom feel like a safe, cared for space. Students couldn't wait to dig into the new books. One of my newcomers, who had been really quiet, lit up when he found a story in both English and Spanish. He read it out loud to a classmate-something he hadn't done before. That moment was special.\r\n\r\nWe use the new resources daily, especially during writing time.
