By transforming their portfolios into creative reflections of themselves, students strengthened their connection to both their academic growth and their identity as learners.\r\nIn addition to enhancing their portfolios, students began creating small, vibrant paintings with the intention of giving them away. For many students, this was their first experience creating something specifically for others, and it opened their eyes to how their talents and efforts can positively affect the lives of people beyond their classroom walls.\r\nThis project emphasized much more than artistic skills. It promoted empathy, generosity, and community awareness. Students learned that creativity can be a tool for service, and that even small acts of kindness can have a meaningful impact. The excitement students felt while creating their artwork was matched by their pride in knowing their paintings would brighten someone else's day.
