This year StuCo implemented "Penny Wars", a fundraising activity that had grades 6-12 competing to collect the most coins. The winning class won a pizza party (paid for with the StuCo half of the funds raised) and the second half was donated to National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). "Penny Wars" was designed by our Student Council to fundraise for our school but also to increase our charitable contributions as a school community. This year, we raised $500; which is awesome but we feel we can raise more. This project will put the donation jars in the lobby for all to see and make a donation!
