Students reside in group homes around NYC and attend various location of Passages Academy where they can catch up on education and earn credits. \r\n\r\n The majority of student come to Passages after years of interrupted education and therefore are reluctant to engage in school works. Student engagement presents great challenges for teachers. One way teachers work on solving the problem is introducing game-like activities. \r\n Your donation of Model Magic supported a week-long fun activity that made students feel good about coming to school. Students learned basic sculpture techniques, proportions and color mixing.
