Because of you, my students have been able to learn the importance of organizing their work for their academics. This has alleviated stress in purchasing supplies and provides students not to worry about these supplies rather come to school and do well since they have all the supplies that they need. I, along with my students, THANK YOU again for your generous donation.\r\n\r\nThese resources along with wonderful instruction, have seen improvements in their mathematical learning and engagement each day. \r\n\r\n\r\nWe've been using the materials during our IM curriculum from one-variable statistics to solving and graphing systems of equations and inequalities. One memorable moment was when students worked in small groups to model real-life situations—such as comparing real life situations using graphs and equations. With the new resources, students were able to visualize their thinking more clearly, check their work, and confidently explain their reasoning to classmates. It was exciting to see students who are usually hesitant participate and take academic risks. Having their classwork and assignments organized, has had an impact on test grades.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their reaction was \"Are these for us?\" and couldn't wait to get started. They wanted to decorate their own binders and take ownership of them. The binders were part of their daily routine in the classroom. Having a routine, classroom supplies available each day, allowed students to be more focused, and eager to do well academically.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students will continue building on these skills by applying systems of equations to more complex word problems and real-world scenarios. Our next steps include independent practice, peer discussions, and short projects where students create and solve their own problems. These resources will continue to support their learning throughout the year and help them grow as confident problem-solvers.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly given students a deeper, more meaningful learning experience. Thank you for giving them the tools they need to succeed and for taking the time to learn about our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1758899272146,"projectUrl":"project/organization-and-success-in-the-classroo/9533224/","projectTitle":"Organization and Success in the Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Waleski","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2164997_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1727173085171","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/waleski"},{"teacherId":2164997,"projectId":8801292,"letterContent":"My students as well as myself would like to thank you for your donation to Murray Hill Academy. Yesterday, one of the girls showed me a duck-stuff animal that is made out of quilting materials you have donated.\r\nThis club is good for introverted, creative students, and especially for those who needs some alternative ways to practice their anxiety from mental health crisis.
