We have had a shift in our population the last few years and we have welcomed newcomers from many other countries. The challenge has been being able to communicate with students so that we know they are learning and growing each day. Our school budget was cut and because of this we could't purchase enough devices for us to be successful. Our school has had drastic budget cuts and the basic supplies of gloves, cups, plates and cutting boards will be used to help support having more students in the club. Having a math classroom where there is a calculator, a pencil, a whiteboard and a marker at the seat of every child is necessary and needed.\r\n\r\nHaving a space to learn that is organized and has all the supplies needed to be successful is important in a classroom. As an educator, it is my job to help them grow and learn.
