Students have used the chess and checker boards teaching each other how to play and competing for kit kats. We have also done some artistic projects including the solar system model using one of the science kits that we received. As we learn about the Earth's layers in Earth and Space Science I am excited to create some models of the layers. The device has allowed me to project the student materials onto the smartboard and model annotating as the students should be. It also allows more students to participate as I can pass the tablet around and they can take turns showing their work to display so that other students can provide feedback.\r\n\r\nThe whiteboards allow students to work collaboratively and to brainstorm their thinking on more complex math problems before committing to a strategy.
