It was like an early Christmas in our classroom!\r\nWe're currently working on a \"My Community\" project. Here's what's coming up:\r\n\r\n1. Students will create simple maps of their neighborhoods\r\n2. They'll label places in English (park, store, school, etc.)\r\n3. Other good news is that they seem to be lasting a long time and won't likely deteriorate for many years.\r\n\r\nThe whiteboard was an excellent addition as well, since now we have enough whiteboards to be able to get all the students comfortably around the room without having to use my main board at the front of the class.
