We are so grateful for all of your contributions. Our students were so excited to help open the boxes and see all of these new materials. They were even more excited to begin using them! \r\n\r\nSeating alternatives (wobble stools; air cushions; weighted lap pads) have helped our students to participate in seated activities for increased amounts of time and more comfort. Helping the students stay regulated during these tabletop activities allows for more learning opportunities. \r\n\r\nThe various exercise balls have allowed the OTs to work with students on a variety of core strengthening activities. Core strength is essential for students' safe navigation of the school, fine motor activities, and really all aspects of the school day.
