My students actively use these materials during our small-group literacy sessions in our Lunch and Learn program. My students with dyslexia are now receiving structured, research-based instruction that meets their individual learning needs. These materials have empowered them to approach reading with greater confidence and determination. Watching their growth and excitement as they strengthen their literacy skills has been truly heartwarming.\r\n\r\nIn addition, the social-emotional anchor charts have made a difference in helping students better identify how they are feeling at different moments throughout the day. They now have daily visual reminders that encourage positive self-talk, perseverance, value and self-belief.\r\n\r\nThe positive behavior bucket has also become a favorite classroom routine. Students eagerly anticipate hearing their names called, which has increased participation, engagement, and excitement about learning.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has been an incredible asset to our classroom. The impact of your kindness extends far beyond the materials you provided. I now remind my students that their education is so valued that others are willing to invest in it. I will always appreciate the opportunity you have provided and the lasting difference you have made in their educational journey.","fullyFundedDate":1763134716075,"projectUrl":"project/educated-to-read-and-feeling-good-to-suc/9826464/","projectTitle":"Educated to Read and Feeling Good to Succeed","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Johnson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10311273"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_642","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":175,"numTeachers":34,"percentFrplEligible":88,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":75,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":2,"percentLatinx":15,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"5.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":33.3,"schoolId":642,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Intermediate School 211 John Wilson on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Intermediate School 211 John Wilson","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/new-york-city-dept-of-ed/is-211-john-wilson/642"}
