The flexible seating also gives them more space around the classroom to sit and work on assignments. They love being able to choose where they want to sit besides at their desks. Thanks to your donations, my 7th grade students now have a full set of headphones to use in math class and they are already making a big difference!\r\n\r\nThis year, we are implementing the Modern Classrooms Project instructional model, which emphasizes self-paced, blended learning. The headphones you provided allow students to fully engage with the video lessons and digital resources at their own pace, without distractions. It's empowering them to take more ownership of their learning, and it's been incredible to watch them grow in confidence and independence.\r\n\r\nThe students were genuinely excited when the headphones arrived. Many commented on how much easier it is to concentrate and understand the material now. For some of them, this is the first time they've had access to this kind of learning environment and it shows in their motivation and progress.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in this project and in our students. Your support has made our classroom more inclusive, more effective, and more engaging. We truly appreciate your kindness and generosity.","fullyFundedDate":1755728189693,"projectUrl":"project/tuned-in-and-crushing-goals/9561359/","projectTitle":"Tuned In and Crushing Goals","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ditrano","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp218001_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1538481721234","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/218001"},{"teacherId":9278138,"projectId":9618501,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, our gym has come alive with new activities! We are now using the fitness dice, cornhole sets, and Velcro dart boards to make movement fun and engaging for every student. These resources have added variety to our warm-ups and skill stations, giving students a chance to build coordination, accuracy, and teamwork in new ways.\r\n\r\nOne of the best moments was when the students first saw the giant fitness dice rolled across the floor—they immediately laughed, cheered, and couldn't wait to see what exercise they'd land on. With the cornhole boards, students have been practicing underhand tossing while encouraging one another, and the Velcro dart boards have become a favorite for improving aim in a safe way.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to integrate these resources into ongoing skill units. For example, during our tossing and catching lessons, students will rotate between the cornhole and dart stations to track progress and challenge themselves. The fitness dice will continue to be used in warm-ups, keeping students active while adding an element of surprise and fun.\r\n\r\nYour support has created a more engaging environment where students feel excited to move, play, and learn. Having headphones for each student to use while engaging in learning activities on the computer has improved their experience and outcomes. \r\n When working on individual reading intervention activities, the headphones allow students to hear words and sounds without background noise that interferes with their ability to really hear a specific word or sound. Students also use their headphones (funded by you wonderful donors) to engage with videos about specific topics at their own learning pace. For example, students in my Social Studies class might be completing assigned activities from a menu of choices that could include listening to audio clips or watching videos. The headphones, that you funded, allow students to navigate through their learning choices in the order they choose and at their own pace. \r\nAdditionally, for students who are English language learners, using audio to listen to texts aids them in developing proficiency in specific subject and also helps them to build on their acquisition of English in general. \r\n Thank you very much for donating to my project.
