Students naturally gravitate toward comfortable seating. The green hexagon folding chair has become a school favorite and reading zone. It brings so much peace and tranquility into the library and helps students focus as they read and complete homework during study hall. The mobile whiteboard has also changed the game. The minute that I set it up with an opening prompt (\"What was the last book that you read that you enjoyed?\"), I noticed that students were eager to share recommendations and check out what their peers were reading. This is one of the easiest ways to get student voice in the library. I can now use their responses to inform my library book orders. \r\n\r\nMy lunchtime crew has already proposed the next discussion question, Which animes are in your top five? I already know that we are going to get a plethora of responses from our anime and manga lovers. I am so grateful that a project that seemed small is making a huge impact in our library in such a short amount of time. We'll use it during group work stations to keep books and materials right where students are working, and it will also make it easier to bring books around the library and get them directly into students' hands.\r\n\r\nI love that the cart will give us a little more flexibility in how we use the space. Students will be able to grab what they need for a station and discover titles without everything having to stay on the shelves.
