It was great to be able to give kids a feeling of abundance and care as they transitioned into high school.\r\n\r\nStudents have been comfortable moving around the room to find the supplies they need in labeled locations, and they know that whatever they are looking for can be found in our classroom. By now, they are established in the routine of taking a task page, putting it into their dry erase sheet protector, and clipping it to their whiteboard with a magnetic clip before settling in and starting to think about their task. On graphing days, it is so much easier to read student work now that we have the magnetic graph squares. \r\n\r\nWe've been off to a great start in our Thinking Classroom, and we are looking forward to the months ahead as we learn more geometry with the help of the supplies you provided.","fullyFundedDate":1756024252428,"projectUrl":"project/new-year-new-classroom/9533092/","projectTitle":"New Year, New Classroom!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Haddad","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1040670"},{"teacherId":7524269,"projectId":9003546,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, two classrooms, math and science, received a set of bouncy bands for each table. These simple yet powerful tools have had a noticeable impact on students' ability to stay focused and engaged during math and science lessons. With a quiet and non-disruptive outlet for their extra energy, students who once struggled to sit still can now fidget in a way that supports their learning rather than distracts from it. \r\nThe bouncy bands have created a more inclusive and responsive learning environment. Students have shared that the bands help them concentrate, reduce anxiety, and feel more comfortable in the classroom. As a teacher, I've seen increased participation, fewer interruptions, and more sustained attention during independent and group work. This project has truly enhanced the classroom experience for all learners, and we're deeply grateful for the support that made it possible.","fullyFundedDate":1742273675335,"projectUrl":"project/bouncy-bands-for-active-learners-helpin/9003546/","projectTitle":"Bouncy Bands for Active Learners: Helping Students Focus and Thrive!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Castillo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7524269"},{"teacherId":3170060,"projectId":9105150,"letterContent":"Because we launched our Sewing Club late in the school year, we've only just begun to explore some sewing basics—but the excitement has been incredible.\r\n\r\nWe started with hand stitching, where students learned a variety of basic stitches and put their new skills to work by creating small soft sculptures (which also double as pin cushions). Speaking of pin cushions, our students absolutely adore the hedgehog one—so much so that they named it after one of their favorite teachers!\r\n\r\nWhen the sewing machines arrived, the energy in the room skyrocketed. Students eagerly opened the boxes, read the instructions, and began experimenting right away. One student has nearly become an expert in just a few short weeks! Their first machine-sewing project is a tote bag made from quilted fabric squares. While we only had time to sew a few squares together before the school year ended, the students are already proud of what they've started.\r\n\r\nWe're all looking forward to continuing next school year—Sewing Club is just getting started!","fullyFundedDate":1743011343520,"projectUrl":"project/future-fashion-and-toy-designers/9105150/","projectTitle":"Future Fashion and Toy Designers","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Weltman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3170060_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1738989166213","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/msweltman"},{"teacherId":10008488,"projectId":9295301,"letterContent":"My team and I would like to express our deepest gratitude for your contributions to our classroom.
