Because of your generosity, we were able to turn an empty room with desks and chairs into a beautiful learning environment we're excited to welcome our students into each morning. Palm is becoming a great space thanks to you all!\r\n\r\nAs we started the school year, items slowly started to arrive. We were able to surprise the students with new things every few days that started making our classroom truly feel like their second home. When our stools and rug came in, we were actually able to have a meeting area where everyone had a space they wanted to sit in. The Palms were also very excited for our Learniture computer stations! Immediately everyone wanted to be a technology monitor so they can get the chance to put the chromebooks to charge.\r\n\r\nThe small things don't go unnoticed in Palm either. Your donations were able to fund materials like pencils, dry erase boards and erasers, book baggies for reading and so much more.","fullyFundedDate":1755717309763,"projectUrl":"project/building-our-first-classroom/9519599/","projectTitle":"Building Our First Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ashley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10102691_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y386&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754339173016","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10102691"},{"teacherId":676206,"projectId":2260236,"letterContent":"Thank you so much! My students were thrilled when they saw the boxes coming in and immediately wanted to dive into my materials. My students who work on reading find the process tedious; however, with the new phonics match cards we have been able to change up sessions and include different games such as hide and seek and memory! Shark Bite has been a favorite for the older kids as they love a jump scare! It has been a great game to incorporate work such as producing sounds and expanding language. Critter Clinic has been a hit with my younger kids that are working on expanding their language and using prepositions.
