The volleyball has quickly become a favorite community-building tool—my students use it during movement breaks and team-building activities, which has helped strengthen their focus and cooperation once they return to academic tasks. The notebooks, pencils, pens, and paper have already supported our daily writing, note-taking, and group assignments, giving students the materials they need to participate confidently. And the snacks have been a quiet but powerful support—helping students stay energized, grounded, and ready to learn throughout the day.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw all the supplies, they were thrilled. They passed the volleyball around with excitement and immediately asked when we would use it for class challenges. Many students held onto their new pencils and notebooks proudly, grateful to have materials that were truly their own. And the snacks sparked big smiles—some students even said, \"Now I won't be hungry in 3rd period!\"\r\n\r\nYour donation gave you a meaningful peek into our classroom, and I want you to know that your impact continues to grow. Our next steps include using the volleyball for structured SEL and team-based academic review games, while the writing supplies will support our upcoming creative writing and project-based learning units. The snacks will continue to help students stay focused and motivated each day.\r\n\r\nThank you for making such a real and lasting difference in my students' daily school experience. Your support has strengthened both their learning and their well-being.","fullyFundedDate":1758899215077,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-supplies/9588010/","projectTitle":"Classroom Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. John","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9839581"},{"teacherId":9839581,"projectId":9395734,"letterContent":"Our 10th Grade CREW students have been buzzing with excitement over our \"Sing/Rap Your Words\" project! The new resources — pencils, paper, bean bag seating, snacks, and especially the karaoke machine — have transformed our classroom into a creative space where students feel free to express themselves. When they first saw the karaoke machine, their faces lit up with joy, and a few students immediately grabbed the microphone to test it out. That moment set the tone for an atmosphere filled with energy, laughter, and confidence.\r\n\r\nSince then, students have been using the materials daily to write, edit, and perform their original lyrics. The bean bags provide a relaxed space for collaboration, the pencils and paper help them craft thoughtful verses, and the snacks keep everyone motivated during long writing sessions. It's been inspiring to see students who were once hesitant to speak up now proudly sharing their words through rhythm and rhyme.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to record student performances and host a \"Spoken Word Celebration\" to showcase their work. This project has not only strengthened writing and communication skills but also built community, confidence, and creativity in the classroom. Thanks to your generous support, our students are learning that their voices truly matter — and that learning can be both powerful and fun.","fullyFundedDate":1752586532949,"projectUrl":"project/singrap-your-words/9395734/","projectTitle":"Sing/Rap Your Words","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. John","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9839581"},{"teacherId":431454,"projectId":9614166,"letterContent":"Dear DonorsChoose and Partners,\r\n\r\nOn behalf of the students and staff at Brooklyn Academy of Global Finance, a Title I school in Brooklyn, I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of copier paper. While paper may seem like a small item, in our classrooms it is one of the most powerful tools we have for teaching and learning.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, my students now have daily access to handouts that provide structure and differentiation for all learners—including English Language Learners, students with disabilities, and mainstream students. These materials allow us to engage deeply in Global History by analyzing historical and geographical context, examining point of view, identifying bias, understanding audience and purpose, and drawing connections between primary and secondary sources. With every printed handout, students are able to practice Regents-level skills such as making cause-and-effect connections, comparing and contrasting sources, and linking historical documents to major turning points—all while connecting the content to their own lives.","fullyFundedDate":1758899121208,"projectUrl":"project/differentiated-lessons-need-engaging-wor/9614166/","projectTitle":"Differentiated Lessons need Engaging Worksheets","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gluck","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp431454_orig.jpg?crop=1143,1143,x1580,y425&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755394548934","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ggluck"},{"teacherId":5408255,"projectId":9252985,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your help in getting my classroom organized.
