Elmo will save the day and make a difference in my students lives!!! As an educator, I am always looking for new technology which inspires my students. Being a 10th grade Global Studies and Geography teacher in NYC is not an easy task. Especially since my students are the under dogs. By this, I need to explain my wonderful students and why they need the Elmo. In June my students will take the Global Studies and Geography Regents Examination, in which they need to pass with a grade of 65 or better in order to graduate High School. Some of you might think, "So what? I did it and it was easy!" Not so for my students. I am not afforded the opportunity to teach honors or AP students, I opt every year to take ELL (English language Learners), Strategies (reading on a 4th -9th grade reading level), Repeaters (students who had difficulties with the regents in the past and failed), and ANA.
