It allows me to model strategies and display resources on one screen while managing digital tools or communicating with students on the other. This has made our instruction smoother, more responsive, and far more engaging. Whether we're doing live writing demos, analyzing texts, or reviewing feedback, the dual-screen setup helps keep learning organized and visible.\r\n\r\nThe iPad, meanwhile, has opened up new doors for creativity and student engagement. Students use it for interactive reading activities, educational games, digital art projects, and even creating short videos to demonstrate their understanding. The portability of the iPad makes it easy for students to use it in small groups or independently during centers, which supports personalized learning.\r\n\r\nWhat excites the students most is the iPad's versatility—it feels familiar and intuitive, yet they're discovering all the educational power it holds. Whether it's using drawing apps to illustrate their writing or voice-recording their responses to reading, they're actively engaged in new, meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nOne student, in particular, who had previously struggled to stay focused during traditional assignments has shown remarkable growth since we introduced the iPad. She uses it to access audiobooks, practice spelling through interactive apps, and even draw storyboards to plan her writing. Her confidence and independence have grown so much—and it's directly tied to having tools that match her learning style.\r\n\r\nYour support has helped bridge the gap between home and school technology and brought learning to life in our classroom. On behalf of all my students, thank you for investing in their future and helping us make every lesson count.","fullyFundedDate":1604676479391,"projectUrl":"project/successful-remote-learning-on-a-limited/5259301/","projectTitle":"Successful Remote Learning on a Limited Budget!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Neggie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4065035"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_94402","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":440,"numTeachers":27,"percentFrplEligible":42,"percentAsian":42,"percentBlack":5,"percentWhite":25,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":24,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"16.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":59.5,"schoolId":94402,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Bell Academy on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Bell Academy","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/new-york-city-dept-of-ed/bell-academy/94402"}
