The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 will allow me to connect to my smartboard and deliver student-tailored lessons. Biology is often difficult to understand without many hands-on or visual aspects. The technology upgrade will allow me to draw diagrams for all to see, point out things students may misunderstand or misinterpret, and stream important videos to students. Oftentimes, I do not find what I need on the internet and I would use this Surface Pro 7 to help design or record materials based on student interest or student questions. The main goal for the technology upgrade is to tailor my lessons to students and what they want to learn. It is my biggest reward to see students own their own learning and want to learn. Students often experience a lot of stress and anxiety because they fear science. It is my job to allow them to make mistakes and ask questions in an excepting environment. If students feel comfortable in my classroom then the real learning can take place.
