It has made such a huge impression on my students. Now, they have many of choices of books to encourage them to read. My students love looking through the new books to find one that they will choose to read next. The looks on their faces brings such joy to me ax well. Just like you, I have such a love of books and now my students do, too!\r\n\r\nMy students are becoming better readers because they have these books to read. This directly has influenced their learning. The reading skills have improved and that increases the level of confidence for each student. This in turn makes them excited to learn. \r\n\r\nIt is important to note that my students are discussing the books with their classmates and recommending books to each other. It is wonderful to see the impact a few good books can make. Due to the books you have graciously donated, a spark has been ignited in my students hearts that will not be extinguished. The students proudly promenaded through the halls and honored their assigned posts guiding almost 100 families through a day of fun-filled activities! \r\n\r\nI should mention that I have no earthly idea of how to use a Cricut! In the end, we are pleased to report that we proudly wore buttons reading \"Together We Rise!\" As we hoped, Ambassadors were easily recognized by this display and the confidence that the buttons fostered. When we divided into groups to complete a scavenger hunt one dad asked, \"Can I have my same ambassador?\" In fact, the outpouring and willingness of students was so great we did not have enough buttons for every student. This while slightly uncomfortable was a great position to be in and reminds us of the impact of students as volunteers.
