The sanitizers, Lysol spray, and cleaning materials help us keep the room disinfected throughout the day, which gives students a sense of comfort and reassurance during their counseling sessions.\r\n\r\nThe games and fidgets have already made a big difference. Students use the fidgets to stay calm and focused, and the games have opened the door for meaningful conversations and social–emotional skill building. One student who is usually very reserved opened up for the first time while we played one of the new games, it created a relaxed, safe moment for them to share.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, they were excited and immediately curious. Many asked if the games and fidgets were \"really for them,\" and they've been using them every day since.\r\n\r\nThese resources will continue to support small-group work, individual counseling, and ongoing social–emotional lessons. It's a constant door of spending. My scholars depend on it. From tissues to ban aids to snacks. But it is all worth when you see the smile on their faces.
