Your generosity has made a real difference for my students. With your help, our classroom now has a collection of new books that students are excited to explore. The moment the books arrived, students immediately began looking through them, talking about which ones they wanted to read first, and sharing recommendations with their classmates.\r\nThese new texts have already begun to support important reading skills in our classroom. As students work through the chapter books, they are practicing character analysis, identifying themes, and thinking more deeply about how characters change throughout a story. Having engaging, high-interest books makes these lessons much more meaningful because students are genuinely invested in the stories and characters they are reading about.\r\nReading in our classroom happens in a few different ways. We have dedicated time where we read together and discuss the texts, as well as free reading time where students can choose books independently. During these times, students are eager to pick from the new books that your donations helped provide. Some students even choose to continue reading during moments like recess or other free time because they want to find out what happens next in their stories.\r\nSeveral students who were previously hesitant about reading have been especially excited about the new books. The variety of chapter books and characters has helped them find stories they connect with, and they are more willing to stick with a book and talk about what they're reading. It has been great to see students recommending books to each other and discussing their favorite characters and themes.\r\nYour support has truly helped create a refreshed classroom library and a stronger reading culture in our room. Thank you for helping provide books that encourage curiosity, discussion, and a genuine excitement for reading and learning.","fullyFundedDate":1768960496211,"projectUrl":"project/a-library-that-sparks-a-love-of-reading/9931422/","projectTitle":"A Library That Sparks a Love of Reading","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lahoz","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10363566"},{"teacherId":9919528,"projectId":9105302,"letterContent":"Words are not always enough to describe the impact someone's generosity makes on others. The vibrant colors of the smiley faces created an immediate burst of positivity. They also provided clear boundaries for where students should sit, not only helping them to feel comfortable having their own space, but allowing for quick transitions to and from the rug for various activities and lessons.\r\n\r\nThe most valuable attribute is how students are able to focus more freely.
