The students and I really appreciate all of the donations that we received.\r\n\r\nThe snacks are a great incentive for students to attend our after-school program. In addition, I use some of the snacks as rewards during class since I try to make learning fun through individual and team contests.\r\n\r\nThe modeling clay has been helpful to demonstrate concepts in biology. We used different-sized \"molecules\" made of clay and a colander to demonstrate diffusion through a membrane, and we actually saw test scores go up after that!
