Your kindness has already made a meaningful difference in our students' ability to focus, feel confident, and take ownership of their learning.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, students now have a choice of different fidgets to help them stay focused during lessons. When the students first saw the variety of tools available, their excitement was immediate. They were genuinely thankful that people cared enough to donate to our classroom and to them personally. It was a powerful moment of connection and gratitude.\r\n\r\nOne student in particular was so happy to be able to try out different types of fidgets to discover what worked best for him. After experimenting with a few options, he proudly shared how focused he felt during math. He told me how proud he was of himself because he knew he could do the work — he just sometimes struggled with focusing. Having the right tool helped him show what he was truly capable of.\r\n\r\nTogether, we brainstormed and created a \"Fidget Tool Station\" in our classroom. This organized space allows students to independently choose what they need, when they need it, without disrupting instruction or their learning. The station has empowered students to self-regulate responsibly and confidently.\r\n\r\nYour generosity is supporting more than just tools — it is building confidence, independence, and success. Thank you for believing in our students and investing in their growth.","fullyFundedDate":1771019346307,"projectUrl":"project/finding-focus-with-fidgets/9838401/","projectTitle":"Finding Focus with Fidgets","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Capezzuto","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3329377_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1511265851233","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/capezzuto"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_23249","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":397,"numTeachers":39,"percentFrplEligible":51,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":30,"percentWhite":12,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":50,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"4 - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"10.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":78.9,"schoolId":23249,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Richard J Bailey School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Richard J Bailey School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/greenburgh-central-school-district/richard-j-bailey-school/23249"}
