Before we got our supplies we were trying to figure out ways to work with younger students without the tools and resources that you were kind enough to provide and it was so difficult. My class and I were excited to read more into teaching life skills to younger students and exploring the board games we will play with them. These supplies have made the project much more interactive and it has gotten off to a great start!\r\n\r\nSo far my students have worked with 8th graders on why school is important, graduation requirements, and starting to work on personal success skills through volunteering together. This TpT gift card allowed me to purchase lessons that is engaging for my students. It also gives me the options to purchase lessons for the new Earth and Space curriculum for the upcoming school year created by other teachers. It gives me a baseline while planning. With one of the purchases, students created a scaled timeline of Earth's history using images of fossils and geographic events. Another activity I purchased helped my students understand the process of correlating rock layers by allowing them to move outcrops of bedrock samples.
