It also gives me the options to purchase lessons for the new Earth and Space curriculum for the upcoming school year created by other teachers. It gives me a baseline while planning. With one of the purchases, students created a scaled timeline of Earth's history using images of fossils and geographic events. Another activity I purchased helped my students understand the process of correlating rock layers by allowing them to move outcrops of bedrock samples.
