With that comes alot of new things that are needed that werent thought about and you helped our classroom so much with storage that we needed to help students gain access to toys to use in our sensory bins, and storage for these toys! \r\nMy students were so excited each time there was a new box in our classroom and they couldnt wait until we got to open them! For many students they were not exposed to many of the toys that you donated to our classroom so it has been amazing to see them explore with all these toys and their imagination expanding when they looked at it a different way. The storage has helped my students learn basic organization skills and to make sure our toys do not get broken! We are so excited to have the bubble fish tank for rest time in our program. Students love turning it on and watching it change colors as the fish move around while drifting off to sleep. It creates the perfect atmosphere for calm and relaxation needed to rest each day. My students were thrilled to see it turned on the first few days and asked for it frequently.\r\n\r\nWe also received other calming, sensory toys that are used at various times throughout the day to soothe our littlest learners. They enjoy the fidgets and the calming strips after waking up from nap or when they just need to self soothe and take a break from the structure of the classroom. Students know that they can head over to the calm corner and play with the toys that will help them self regulate. This is thanks to you and your generous support of this project.\r\n\r\nWe would like to continue to build our sensory classroom options to support our students' needs.
