They immediately started coming up with designs, checking measurements, and testing out the process. One of my favorite moments was watching a group of students who don't usually work together huddle around the machine, trying out different ideas and cheering when they finally pressed their first perfect button. It was such a fun mix of creativity, problem-solving, and pure middle-school joy.\r\n\r\nNow the button maker has become one of the most popular tools in our space. Students are using it to make buttons for clubs, school events, and personal projects, all while practicing STEM skills like geometry, iteration, and visual communication without even realizing it. It's also giving them the confidence to try out some of our more advanced makerspace tools next.
