When students come into our office complaining of a headache one of the first things we ask them is if they had drank any water today? Often times we get \"I don't have a water bottle or I forgot mine at home.\" Without a water bottle at school students are either not drinking water at all or leaving the classroom multiple times to get drinks from the water fountain. We also encourage water when anyone if feeling ill at all, even with the common cold. They have been extremely helpful for the upset stomach and/or the empty bellies just before lunch time. \r\nThe students also have used the heat/cold packs frequently too, we can never seem to have enough of them. \r\nI believe our students benefitted from all the donated items in one way or another.
