Your generosity was an unexpected surprise. You may never know how much you truly have impacted the education of my Students with Disabilities in such a positive way; but I will try to describe it the best I can. Words cannot fully express our gratitude for the gift you have given us. \r\n\r\nMy students are loving the incorporation of technology into the Arts Classroom. From Music activities to Art activities and beyond, you have given me the ability to enhance my lessons in a way my students love to grasp and can comprehend. Some of their favorite activities include creating music on Chrome Music Lab and designing masterpieces on Sketchpad, amongst other software and websites. With the students, it has been most beneficial exploring artworks through museum websites around the world and hosting virtual visits with them. Students love to learn about masterpieces and artists while interacting with Museum Educators live from their museums. It is so touching to see them grasping the history and relating the knowledge they are learning to his or her personal artwork. Amazing!\r\n\r\nWe utilize this computer for countless amounts of things. Boardmaker is great for visual assistance. Art journal masterpieces and prompts, Music journal prompts, communication boards, arts show labels, amongst others can be created. Google Meet and Zoom for remote classes, meetings, and virtual field trips offer a special addition to the curriculum. Day-to-day administrative tasks are completed with a sense of ease. Our student achievement ceremonies, Fifth Grade graduation, and Kindergarten moving up ceremony preparations are in the works. Personally, I love how the computer is compatible with our SMARTBoard and Promethean Boards. This makes a huge difference for my students. These things and more, they are possible all THANKS TO YOU!\r\n\r\nPlease accept my sincerest, heartfelt gratitude. This gift truly allows me to be able to be the best teacher I can be and continue to enhance the lives of my Musicians and Artists with Disabilities. My hope still is to leave the world a little bit better for having been here. It's a wonderful life and I love it.\" This is definitely true to you! Thank you so much for bringing the world of Jim Henson and his puppet friends to life for my Students with Disabilities. While we cannot truly express how grateful we are for your kindness and care, please know that you are just as special to us as Jim Henson and his craft. In many ways, both of you have made a huge, positive difference in the lives of our Students with Disabilities that Jim Henson hoped to accomplish. This graphic novel, though a simple ask, has truly offered a sense of inspiration and more, such as imagination, magic, creativity, expression, communication, intrigue, and pride unlike any other; which I will do my best to describe.\r\n\r\nMy Students with Disabilities love everything Jim Henson! They are obsessed to say the least! From the characters to stories, Puppetry as an Art form, muppets, puppets, Fraggle Rock, movies to series, and now the man behind it all, Jim Henson. These graphic novels are a perfect, beautiful depiction and tribute to Jim Henson's life. They describe his life events and mastery in ways that my students can comprehend and question. The magic of literacy and reading has shined bright with these graphic novels. You are offering the continued gift to practice their IEP goals, life skills, letter identification, picture descriptions, another genre of reading (biographies), and more. For that alone, thank you!\r\n\r\nThe joy and excitement beamed bright when receiving these books. It cannot be described in words, rather it was a glowing sense of feelings that filled the classrooms. Plus, they were delivered right in time to distribute on World Read Aloud Day which made them even more special! Families and students were so surprised to receive a book in the first place. They could not believe your kindness and still thank you to this day. Each book was personally labeled with the student's name on the inside cover and World Read Aloud Day 2025. These books have been remarkable in terms of our \"Book It\" reading incentive program participation, too! I slipped our \"Book It\" goal tracker into the cover of the books before I gave them out. Many families and students themselves have told me that they are \"earning their pizza\" each month and \"trying hard to achieve their reading goal.\" They informed me that they are reading this book as a family or bedtime story and everyone is learning from this book. Your generosity has really encouraged participation, which makes our students want to succeed, and love reading. I have received the most returned reading trackers this month, thanks to you and your gift! Families have mentioned many times that their child loves to read this book over and over again! Some students even keep it in their book bags, so they can always find it. You gave them such a sense of ownership and pride with these graphic novels. It is so heartwarming to hear how much the students love them and how it makes them feel like \"grown-up\" readers. This is an amazing accomplishment, truly thanks to you. We are so appreciative!\r\n\r\nLike Jim Henson once expressed, \"Life's like a movie, write your own ending. In reality, with your generosity, you are providing this to my students. Thank you! \r\n\r\nMy students are enjoying using the materials I purchased. TPT enabled me to purchase a variety of teaching resources in multiple formats; such as readings, arts activities, games, Keynotes, Google Slides, interactive notebook lessons, engaging educational activities, and much more. The biggest impact has been purchasing visual supports for students to use as assistance with communication, building independence, and grasping comprehensive concepts. We have especially been enjoying learning about Jazz Music through slides with music and videos, specific musicians, instrument families, and other forms of the arts. My students love incorporating his or her knowledge, learned from the purchased materials, in their music listening journals. It has been wonderful to witness the growth and progress of my students, as well as seeing their personal interests expand in relation to Music and the Arts.
