Hello potential donor! Thank you for visiting my page! I am a Special Education Arts Teacher in the Bronx, NY. My Kindergarten through Fifth grade students are all diagnosed with ranging Autism Spectrum Disorders, living and attending school in an area of poverty. All are struggling with a variety of basic communication and expression skills, sensory issues, self awareness and functional abilities, and activities for daily living skills. My students (or whom I call "my artists" and "my musicians") are visual modality/tactile learners who comprehend best when the information is relatable and realistic. Setting their disabilities aside, my artists and musicians are remarkably inspiring and truly express a deep passion for anything Arts-related. Please give my artists and musicians a chance to experience a multi-faceted Arts program, which most take for granted!
