The students will use it to safely cut tapers on furniture parts using the jig. \r\n\r\nThe jig had an aluminum bar that tracks in the miter slot of the table saw keeping it moving parallel to the blade when pushed along. \r\n\r\nThe base of the jig had the ability to be angled and had hold downs to keep the stock in place. \r\n\r\nIt's is safe and easy to get repeatable cuts using this jig. The students helped unbox it and helped remove the grease using an organic cleaner. \r\n\r\nThey assisted with putting it together . It is impressive how heavy the unit is. The table is cast iron and the post is steel. \r\n\r\nThe students really enjoy using it to easily bore holes in their work.
