The majority of my students are visual and kinesthetic learners. My classroom is composed of students with special needs, English Language Learners and general ed. students. They enjoy learning if the classroom meets their learning style. My students like small group instruction in the form of centers. These centers help with re-teaching an idea or skill for struggling learners, develop smaller and one on one assistance and challenge others. The learning environment in my classroom is warm and comfortable for them to be safe and learn. I make sure that the room is quiet with minimal distraction and a place where they feel comfortable to work collaboratively I set out clear expectations for independent/partner work, centers (group work) and develop routines that allow students to get help independently, and teach students how to respect the way their classmates learn. These centers will help some advanced learners hel
