Many of my students have not had access to a proper P.E. program for several years, so these new supplies and equipment are making a meaningful difference as I work to build a strong and engaging program for them.\r\n\r\nAs soon as the students saw the new items especially the obstacle course materials such as the stepping stones and tunnels, they were unbelievably excited to try them out. Many of them found the activities both fun and motivating, and it has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm for physical activity grow. The TV and mobile cart stand was a game changer when it came to instruction as it incoporated everything I ever wanted when conducting lessons such as visuals, timers, videos, gifs, and much needed speaker/music. The students see the TV as my go to for what to expect in P.E. and what routine they are on, and what skill they are learning. \r\n\r\nNext, my students will begin a well-developed gymnastics unit focused on building fundamental movement skills, strength, balance, and coordination. Using the new equipment, students will safely practice their balances, jumps, and simple sequences while learning proper body control and spatial awareness.
