While going through the headphones at the beginning of this school year, there were many that needed to be replaced. Having a working set of headphones if vital during our math centers when everyone is working at a different pace and station. Also, there are a few students who struggle with math word problems, and having the headphones available to have the word problems read to them is very important. Not only does it help my students understand the problems better, but no one else knows that they are having the problems read to them, which increases the equity in my classroom.\r\n Having a snack is something my kiddos look forward to every day. There are quite a few kiddos who do not have the means to bring in a snack and need a yummy snack to tide them over between breakfast and lunch.
