Your donation of reusable water bottles has already made a meaningful difference as our students begin their first year of middle school.\r\n\r\nFor many of our students, starting middle school is a big transition. They are learning new routines, moving between classrooms, meeting new teachers, making new friends, and becoming more independent. Having their own reusable water bottle is one small way we can help them feel prepared, welcomed, and cared for.\r\n\r\nThe students were excited to receive their bottles and have quickly made them part of their daily routines. They can refill them throughout the school day and bring them along during classroom activities, collaborative projects, physical education, and hands-on learning experiences.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has also helped us promote healthy habits and create a more equitable learning environment. Every sixth grader has access to the same resource, regardless of what they are able to bring from home.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, your donation sends a message to our students that their community believes in them. As they take their first steps into middle school, your support reminds them that people they may never meet are willing to invest in their success.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping our sixth graders start this new chapter hydrated, prepared, and ready to learn!","fullyFundedDate":1788784673236,"projectUrl":"project/hydrated-and-ready-for-middle-school/10523160/","projectTitle":"Hydrated and Ready for Middle School!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Arnold","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7463705_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1782482166489","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7463705"},{"teacherId":7773327,"projectId":9551185,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support of our classroom through DonorsChoose. This is my first year teaching AIS (academic instructional support) for math in addition to regular math 8 classes. One requirement for our AIS classes is to complete 40 minutes of an online instructional program. During this time, it allows me to work 1:1 with struggling students and give direct instruction as needed since the students working on the program now have headphones to be listening to their lesson! Since each student now has headphones there is no risk of being distracted with 15 different lessons going on at the same time! \r\n\r\nThe students love the quality of the headphones. The bright colors make them fun and the fact that they are high quality and not just the $1 cheap earbuds makes them reusable from class to class. They are easily wiped down! \r\n\r\nNot all students have access to things such as decent headphone. I heard comments such as \"wow, really?!?\", \"seriously?!\", and \"I can't believe someone would do this!\" They were so grateful (not a feeling I see often at this age) to have new, clean headphones to use in class.
