When my students first saw the owl pellets, their faces lit up with excitement and curiosity. Many had never heard of owl pellets before, and the idea of dissecting them to uncover real bones sparked an instant sense of wonder.\r\n\r\nAs we began the investigation, my students transformed into young scientists, using tools to carefully pull apart the pellets and piece together tiny skeletons. They were amazed to discover skulls, ribs, and jawbones—evidence of what owls had eaten. This hands-on experience not only reinforced our previous lessons but also encouraged teamwork and critical thinking. \r\n\r\nThis project has had a lasting impact beyond just one lesson. My students are now more engaged in learning about predators, prey, and the delicate balance of nature. Many have even taken their enthusiasm home, sharing what they learned with their families and asking more questions about wildlife in our area.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has truly made a difference in our classroom, and we are so grateful.
