Daphnia are such awesome organisms, and we have been studying them alot! We looked at their heart rate at cold and warm temperatures. We love that we have two different species as well! We have been comparing and contrasting the differences in size and how they function. The addition to live animals in the class has been so empowering to my students. I love being able to teach my students a new skill and one that they can create things that they can give as gifys for their families as well.
